I was able to compile it and install it without problems, but this one was really slow, getting ping times between 3000 and 25000 ms (yes I said 3000 to 25000 ms !!!!) so nor the one included in Raspbmc nor this one works for me. Any ideas or new sources to try?pablothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12488590480393751259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6764243594997708551.post-1823312879805286982014-01-14T11:03:46.379+08:002014-01-14T11:03:46.379+08:00Did you perform step 1?

You can just directly download the unzipped file from my dropbox account if you want to.

To answer your question, in the original post, the 8188eu.ko file is shared as a zipped file (8188eu.ko.zip). So in order to use that file (8188eu.ko), you need to extract the zipped file by unzip command:
$unzip 8188eu.ko.zip

If you don't have the unzip program installed, you can install it by:
$sudo apt-get install unzipHaziqhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11534809107334411279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6764243594997708551.post-39286138327217468952014-01-14T10:37:09.521+08:002014-01-14T10:37:09.521+08:00thanks for pointing that out.
